2024 Nominations Announcement via Special Video Presentation

TORONTO, ON – We are excited to announce that the nominees for the 2024 Toronto Theatre Awards will be unveiled by celebrated Canadian actress Andrea Macasaet through a special video presentation. The video will be released on August 20, 2024, on our official website and social media platforms.
Andrea Macasaet is best known for originating the role of Anne Boleyn in the musical Six, on Broadway. Andrea's portrayal of the witty and sharp-tongued queen, was praised for its energy and charisma, quickly making Andrea a fan favourite performer on Broadway.
In 2023, Andrea played Mimi Marquez in the Stratford Festival production of Rent. And recently Andrea starred in Rainbow Stage's new Filipino musical MA-BUHAY!
Andrea Macasaet will bring her infectious personality and passion for the arts as she announces the 2024 Toronto Theatre Awards nominees. This video presentation will highlight the remarkable achievements of Toronto's theatre community over the past year.
